Compression Operations Engineer/Analyst

National Fuel is currently seeking a full-time Compression Operations Engineer/Analyst for an outstanding career opportunity at our Tioga Field Office located in Mansfield, PA or Mavindale Compressor Station in Mount Jewett, PA. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Utilize dedicated equipment and software:
o To gather and interpret natural gas compressor/engine performance and health data.
o Conduct vibration and pulsation surveys.
o Assist maintenance personnel on inspections and troubleshooting.
· Compile, trend and analyze data to enhance maintenance and improve reliability.
· Evaluate fluid analysis data and make repair/replacement recommendations.
· Apply engine and compressor modeling strategies to enhance performance and improve control system accuracy.
· Develop spreadsheets for trending and analysis of equipment performance and health.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
· Associate’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, or related field
· Demonstrated mechanical and electrical aptitude, including a working knowledge of internal combustion engines, compressors, and controls and instrumentation.
· Intermediate proficiency level in MS Office applications including Excel, Work and Outlook.
· Able to effectively organize, plan, prioritize, document, and complete work with a minimum of supervision.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
· Bachelor’s degree in engineering
· Prior mechanical/operating experience on various compressor engine types and electronic/pneumatic instrumentation troubleshooting
· Formal engine and compressor analyzer degrees and/or certifications are a plus.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
The base salary range for this position is $60,500 – $85,000.
This job posting contains a pay range, which represents the range of pay that National Fuel believes, in good faith, at the time of this posting that it might be willing to pay for the posted job. The specific base pay offered to a successful applicant will be based primarily on relevant professional experience. Other components that may be considered include: individual qualifications, licensures, industry specific experience, education and market demands for specialized skills. The pay range is subject to change at any time based on various internal and external factors. Exempt positions will also be eligible for an Annual Cash Bonus Plan.
