Speak Freely

Join us during Banned Books Week (October 5-11, 2025) for an evening of powerful poetry readings from banned & challenged books. Speak Freely will bring together educators, students, writers, & community members to celebrate the right to read & uplift voices that have been silenced. The program will feature selected readings, short introductions to each poem, complimentary refreshments, & a closing reflection period where the community can share responses & favorite lines. This program is free to attend and is open to teens & adults!
