Live at the Fillmore is the definitive tribute to one of the greatest rock bands of all time – The Allman Brothers Band, which originally featured Duane Allman, Dickey Betts and Berry Oakley. Along with the wild enthusiasm of its audiences, The Allman Brothers Band is known for popular songs like “Midnight Rider”, “In Memory of Elizabeth Reed”, and “Whipping Post”.
Referred to as “The Dark Star Orchestra of the Allman Brothers Band”, Live at the Fillmore painstakingly recreates The Allman Brothers Band’s concert performances from 1969-1971 – particularly, their legendary shows at Bill Graham’s Fillmore East Auditorium in New York City.
