Franklin YMCA Events

American Red Cross Lifeguard Class - Call for pre-requisites and to schedule a pre-test date to be held between March 2- March 14;  there are 3 parts to the class - pre-test, online portion and in-class session; in-class date is March 23; call for further information.
 
Franklin Magic All Star Cheerleading - for boys and girls ages 6-18 years old; competitive group that performs year-round; Wednesdays and Sundays from 5-8PM; monthly fee is $20 for a household member, $23 for a youth member and $38 for a non-member.


 
Franklin YMCA March Madness 3 0N 3 Basketball League - co-ed for adults age 18 and up; registration open until March 15; round robin games Wednesdays from 8:00-10:00PM on March 18 and March 25; double elimination tournament Saturday, March 28; cost is $60 due at time of registration. 
 
Junior Penguins Street Hockey League - for youth in grades 1-6; registration is open; season runs from Monday, March 2 through March 30; all youth will receive a t-shirt and hockey stick to take home; coaches needed.
 
SCUBA Diving Class - S.D.I. Open Water Certification; class begins April 27 and runs for 6 weeks; Mondays from 5:30- 9:30PM; call instructor Jim Flinchbaugh at 673-3933 to register.
 
 
Multi Level Yoga - New session Tuesdays at 5:15PM.
 
Pound Fit - the 2nd and 4th Saturdays of each month at 9:30AM; using weighted drum sticks, pound your way through this total body workout; free for members and $5 for nonmembers.
 
Revitalize - Mondays at 9:40AM; start with power Yoga, transition to isometric exercises and end with body weight exercises.

Revitalize SWEAT - 1st and 3rd Saturdays in March and April at 9:30 (possibly into May); higher intensity power yoga, more cardio and strength toning/training options.



STRONG by Zumba - 6:30pm on Thursdays; combination of body weight, muscle conditioning, cardio and plyometric training; certified instructor is Marci Ziegler; free for members; $5 per class for nonmembers.
